Debra has been a psychologist since 2016. Debra holds a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, a Master's degree in Grief and Loss, and Bachelor's degrees in both Psychology (Honours) and Counselling. Debra truly cares about her clients. Debra's approach to therapy is client-centred, meaning that every person who walks through her door gets the personalised care they need to thrive. She's a true partner in counselling, who believes in the power of optimism, openness, and self-reflection for positive change. Best of all, she's committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients.


Her clinical expertise in working with adults via Medicare, Employee Assistance Program, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme, coupled with her experience in supporting university students and not-for-profit organisations, makes her a trusted professional to help you navigate psychological challenges.


Debra is a kind and empathetic professional who has an impressive range of therapeutic expertise to support your goals, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. She is also experienced in couples therapy with training in the Gottman Method and Emotion Focused Couples Therapy


Debra can support those who have experienced trauma, substance and alcohol dependence, as well as grief and loss. As a dedicated practitioner, she is passionate about providing compassionate care to promote healing and personal growth. With comprehensive knowledge of anxiety, depression, and attachment difficulties, Debra can create highly individualised treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.


Debra provides psychological services for adolescents, adults, and couples. She welcomes all clients from diverse backgrounds into therapy. She can support those who are facing life challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, family violence, career and work-related challenges, disabilities, and study-related difficulties.


In addition to clinical practice Debra is also an experienced board approved supervisor who values learning and inspiring professional growth among student psychologists, early carer psychologists and her colleagues.


Debra has a variety of session times available throughout the week. She provides early morning sessions Monday to Friday prior to work hours, after hours sessions Wednesdays and Fridays, and day sessions on Sunday. This allows working professionals to access psychological services without impacting their workday.


Debra also has a special interest in providing mental health treatment to other mental health professionals, and working with clients with disabilities.
